Upon arrival at the airport, clear all the immigration formalities and outside the airport, our team members will be waiting outside with the Pla-card. You will then be transferred to the hotel. d. Day 2: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu a. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit some of the UNESCO heritage site along with some last minutes trekking shopping. b. First visit the Pashupatinath. The magnificent Pashupatinath temple which with its astonishing architectural beauty is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath is also Nepal's most renowned Hindu cremation site. c. Then we will visit Swayambunath. Swayambunath a UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site is an ancient stupa is the most sacred Buddhist shrines of Nepal and is also known as a Self-Created stupa. The stupa lies in the heart of the valley above a hill. d. Later visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu, the largest city of Nepal is the political as well as the cultural capital of the country. Kathmandu is blessed by a living goddess. The Kumari Devi is the most important of several living goddesses in Nepal. Walk across the Ason Bazaar exploring the spices and vegetable market all the way to Thamel a buzzing, visitor-friendly area. e. Also, Thamel is the ultimate place for trekkers to buy all the trekking stuffs, ranging from local to international brand, once can buy or rent trekking items as needed. f. Note: The Museum is under the restoration process. g. Later drive back to the hotel. h. Overnight at the hotels in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Day visit to Pokhara Drive a. Distance: approx. 200 kms b. Drive Durations: approx. 6 hrs. c. Altitude: 820 m / 2,690 ft. d. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will drive to Pokhara which take approx. 5 – 6 hrs. On the way enjoy the scenic drive along the Trishuli river. Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes, and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. Upon arrival, at Pokhara, check in to the hotel. After lunch (own your own expense), we will stroll around the Lakeside and visit Bindabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. e. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara.
Day 4: Drive to Nayapaul and trek to KomrongDanda a. Trek Time: approx. 4 -5 hrs. b. Altitude: 2,100 m / 6889 ft. c. After breakfast, the journey begins with combination of witnessing the local culture and tradition and great mountain panorama. Our guide will pick you from your hotel at Pokhara and drive to Nayapul – Syauli Bazar by local sharing jeep / taxi, then trek through beautiful Ghandruk village and trek to KomrongDanda for overnight stay. d. NOTE: Today, the accommodation will be on a simple lodge with basic and limited facilities. e. Overnight at Simple Lodge.
Day 5: Trek to Sinuwa a. Trek Time: approx. 6-7 hrs. b. Altitude: 2,100 m / 6889 ft. c. Trekking from Ghandruk to Sinuwa (2310m) is today’s plan that takes 6-7 hours hike. The trail from Ghandruk to KomrongDanda is gradually up. From KomrongDanda, you will trek down to KomrongKhola. Again, climb up to Chhomrong, Chhomring is another grand Gurung village. From this village, you will trek down to the river and will climb again to Sinuwa. If the weather is pleasant, you will enjoy nice stunning Mountain vista, overnight at Lodge. d. Overnight at Simple Lodge.
Day 6: Trek to Deurali a. Trek Time: approx. 6 - 7 hrs. b. Altitude: 3,230 m / 10,597 ft. c. We have a silence jungle walk today to Himalaya from Dovan. It is believed that mountains are sacred and holy. As it is already believed that Annapurna means "full of food" (feminine form), but is normally translated as Goddess of the Harvests. In Hinduism, Annapurna is "... the universal and timeless kitchen-goddess ... the mother who feeds. Without her there is starvation and a universal fear. Her most popular shrine is located in Kashi, on the banks of the river Ganga." Her association with the giving of food (wealth) led her in time to be transformed into Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth so from the religious view it is important to respect the Mother Nature, create peaceful and calm surroundings. d. Overnight at Simple Lodge.
Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp a. Trek Time: approx. 6-6 hrs. b. Altitude: 4,130 m / 13,549 ft. c. Above Deurali the valley widens and becomes less steep. After walking some stone staircase, we reach at the place where some people were killed by avalanche a decade ago. We should not stop in this possible dangerous place for long time. This place is warned of avalanche so continue trek ahead with aware until you get to safe place. As you walk further, more beautiful White Mountains are seen and close. The trail turns to the left in the valley after Machhapuchhre Base Camp and it is pleasant walk up ABC though the air is thinner now. You may feel at the high altitude now. It is recommended not rush and walk gently. Now you can see the one of best 360˙degree Mountain View in world from Base Camp. There are tremendous views of giant Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) 6997m and several other wonderful peaks. d. Overnight at Simple Lodge.
Day 8: Trek to Bamboo a. Trek time: approx. 6-7 hrs. b. Altitude: 2,310 m / 7,578 ft. c. After enjoying Brilliant Mountain view and taking hot cup of tea or coffee we take hot breakfast and trek down to Dovan or Bamboo via MBC, Deurali and Himalaya. We take tea and lunch break on the way. d. Overnight at Simple Lodge.
Day 9: Trek to New Bridge a. Trek Time: approx. 2 - 3 hrs. b. From Bamboo we walk up during 30 minute and it is pleasant jungle walk to Sinuwa then head down to ChhumrungKhola and walk up long stone staircase up upper Chhomrung then walk steep down to Jhinu, after a short break at Jhinu, then we cross one of the biggest and longest suspension bridge there and trek to New Bridge nicely located at the bank of Modi Khola with peaceful environment. c. Overnight at Simple Lodge.
Day 10: Trek toKyumi and drive to Pokhara a. Trek Time: approx. 2-3 hrs. b. After breakfast we trek to Kyumi that takes about 2-3 hours walk, where our private vehicle will pick us up to the hotel. We will either have lunch en-route or at the hotel. After some leisure time, we will enjoy boating at the Phewa lake. c. Overnight Hotels in Pokhara
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu a. Distance: Approx. 180 km b. Drive Time: Approx. 5-6 hrs. c. Breakfast at the hotel. We will then begin our drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival check in to the hotel, where the remaining day is at leisure. d. Overnight at Hotels in Kathmandu.
