Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu a. Altitude: 1,400 m / 4,593 ft. b. Flight Details: TBA. c. Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon arrival at the airport, clear all the immigration formalities and outside the airport, our team members will be waiting outside with the Pla-card. You will then be transferred to the hotel. d. Remaining day at leisure or stroll around the area. e. Overnight at Hotels in Kathmandu (-/L/D).
Day 2: Drive to Chitwan. Enroute visit to Chandragiri a. Drive Duration: approx. 5 hrs. b. Drive Distance: approx. 180kms c. Altitude: 415 m / 1,362 ft. d. Breakfast at the hotel. Later we will depart to Pokhara. e. Before leaving the Kathmandu valley, we will visit Chandragiri hill via cable car. f. Chandragiri Hill is seven kilometers from Thankot and lies on the south-west side of Kathmandu Valley which is 2551 metres above sea level. The hill provides panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest. Every year during the winter season the hill receives a plummeting amount of domestic as well as an international tourist enjoying the rare snowfall that generally lasts for a few weeks. g. At the top of the hill lies the temple of Bhaleshwor Mahadev. The temple is believed to have been erected at one of these sites, where Satidevi's forehead ('Bhala') had fallen. h. We will then continue our drive to Chitwan, which take approx. 5 hrs. On the way enjoy the scenic drive along the Trishuli river. i. The Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal, located in the lush valley of the Chitwan District, 75 miles south west of Kathmandu, in the foothills of the Churia Ranges. j. Upon arrival at the hotel, check into your rooms. During lunch, you will be briefed about the evening activities. k. Overnight at Hotels in Chitwan (B/L/D)
Day 3: In Chitwan a. After breakfast, experience the thrill of walking inside the dense jungle to catch a glimpse of one-horned rhinoceros, and other different species of birds and animals accompanied by an expert naturalist. b. Or, go for an adventurous jeep safari. Subject to additional cost c. After lunch, enjoy canoeing ride at the River Rapti watching the beautiful views of the Himalayan foothills and keep an eye for innumerable rhinoceros, gharials, and birdlife. Evening, enjoy Tharu cultural show. d. (Note: The jungle activities may alter depending on the hotels. Jeep Safari is prohibited during monsoon season by the park authorities.) e. Overnight at Hotels in Chitwan (B/L/D).
Day 4: Drive to Pokhara a. Drive Duration: approx. 5 hrs. b. Drive Distance: approx. 180kms. c. Altitude: 872 m / 2,713 ft. d. Today, we will leave Chitwan for our journey to Pokhara. The drive is approx. 5 hrs. e. Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes, and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. f. Upon arrival, at Pokhara, check in to the hotel. Later, we will stroll around the Lakeside and visit Bindabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. g. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara (B/L/D).
Day 5: In Pokhara a. Early morning drive to Sarangot, a beautiful village located on a mountainside ridge at an altitude of 1600 m with panoramic Himalaya views. Enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. b. After some leisure time, we will start our full-day sightseeing tour. Enjoy boating at the Phewa Taal, the second largest lake in Nepal. The lake is stream-fed but the dam regulates the water reserve, therefore it is classified as a semi-natural fresh lake. Then visit the Barahi Temple, also known as the island temple surrounded by the Phewa Lake offering a marvelous view. c. After lunch (own your own expense), visit World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist Stupa built by the Buddhist monks of the Japanese Nipponza Fuji organization at a narrow ridge above the Phewa Tal. d. We then drive down to visit Davis fall. Just across the cave is Gupteshwor Cave, one of the longest caves in Nepal. e. Later drive back to the hotel. f. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara (B/L/D).
Day 6: Drive back to Kathmandu a. Today we will drive back to Kathmandu. b. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Remaining time is at leisure. c. Overnight at Hotels in Kathmandu (B/L/D).
Day 7: Final Departure a. Flight Details: TBA. b. Depending on the flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
