Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu a. Altitude: 1,400 m / 4,593 ft. b. Flight Details: TBA. c. Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon arrival at the airport, clear all the immigration formalities and outside the airport, our team members will be waiting outside with the Pla-card. You will then be transferred to the hotel. d. Remaining day at leisure or stroll around the area. e. Overnight at Hotels in Kathmandu (-/L/D).
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara a. Drive Duration: approx. 6 hrs. b. Drive Distance: approx. 200 kms. c. Altitude: 872 m / 2,713 ft. d. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will drive to Pokhara which take approx. 6 hrs. On the way enjoy the scenic drive along the Trishuli river. e. Pokhara’s bewitching beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes, and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural beauty. f. Upon arrival, at Pokhara, check in to the hotel. After lunch (own your own expense), we will stroll around the Lakeside and visit Bindabasini Temple, one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. g. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara (B/L/D).
Day 3: In Pokhara a. Early morning drive to Sarangot, a beautiful village located on a mountainside ridge at an altitude of 1600 m with panoramic Himalaya views. Enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. Then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. b. After some leisure time, we will start our full-day sightseeing tour. Enjoy boating at the Phewa Taal, the second largest lake in Nepal. The lake is stream-fed but the dam regulates the water reserve, therefore it is classified as a semi-natural fresh lake. Then visit the Barahi Temple, also known as the island temple surrounded by the Phewa Lake offering a marvelous view. c. After lunch (own your own expense), visit World Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist Stupa built by the Buddhist monks of the Japanese Nipponza Fuji organization at a narrow ridge above the Phewa Tal. d. We then drive down to visit Davis fall. Just across the cave is Gupteshwor Cave, one of the longest caves in Nepal. e. Later drive back to the hotel. f. Overnight at Hotels in Pokhara (B/L/D).
Day 4: Drive to Nagarkot a. Altitude: 2,175 m / 7,135 ft. b. Today we will drive back to Kathmandu and make further to Nagarkot. c. En-route, we will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon translates as the ‘City of Devotees’. Still untouched by rapid urbanization, Bhaktapur retains its charm by its brick paved roads, red brick houses and a way of life that goes back to medieval times. d. Enjoy Juju Dhau, a traditional curd. Subject to extra cost. e. Upon reaching Nagarkot, check in to the hotel. Evening, enjoy the sunset view over the Himalayas. f. If you have high visibility, you can also see the world's first peak, Mount Everest. Look at the front of the Himalayas like a jade belt across the air, plus the everchanging clouds in the sky, the spectacular scenery is shocking. g. Overnight at Hotels in Nagarkot (B/L/D).
Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu a. Early morning enjoys the sunrise view over the Himalayas. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu and visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. b. Swayambhunath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, situate in the top hill within the Kathmandu valley. It is also said to be a self-created stupa. c. Later we will drive to Patan to visit yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit the museum and explore the culture walking along the narrow streets, Hindu Temples, Buddhist monasteries. d. Then visit Kathmandu Durbar Square is in listed in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit different temples and walk along the Ason Bazzar e. Due to the earthquake, Museum in Kathmandu Durbar Square is under construction. f. We will then walk along the Thamel Street. We will also have the chance for some last minutes shopping to buy trekking gears if needed. g. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu (B/-/-)
